None of the households are going to be played in order this round and I'm just accepting that at this point.



Anyway. River has moved out on their own. I probably should've left them with Orla and Maddan, but that house is small and also they probably wouldn't have gotten any focus this round with the drama that those two have going on. And wouldn't you know it, I forgot to roll a ROS for them until after I finished playing. 🙃

I think 'help[ing] Maccus seize his seat' may actually have consisted mainly of talking him out of dumbass plans. Possibly solely consisted of that. He has strong act first, think later vibes. Eisu hated this man, btw.

I did NOT forget to do the hood ROS at the start of the round. I forgot to post it. :)



Was it vermin, or was it Orla's goat? Regardless, everyone loses 20% of food resources not stored in their refrigerators larders.

This might have more of an effect if it'd happened next round, but no one has a lot of food in their inventory right after spring, since the main harvests are in summer and autumn. Also, I kinda aggressively sell off/store whatever sims gather right away.

I switched things up and started with Helenet's household, not because she's accidentally become the main character but because I wanted to minimize the amount of time Gytha and Angus spend split up due to aging into adults. 👍



Arturo has finally been coaxed to join the household. He brought a sapling from the grove and has planted it just outside the gate.




Helenet: Arturo, do you ever properly walk anywhere?

Arturo: Not if I can help it.

I have the world's shortest round from Arturo, because for once nothing is happening to him. He’s not suffering from a curse or getting amnesia, he’s not in any relationship drama, he’s just chilling with his spirit cat and his boyfriend/girlfriend. He even rolled a ‘nothing much happens’ entry on the ROS. Love that for him.

Also, I’m experimenting with resizing my screenshots differently, to 800px wide instead of 1280px, so if they look different that’s why.

(I’ll probably go back to a bigger size... solely because the pop-ups look too big when I paste them in now, lmao.)




So it turns out not passing out all the time is pretty great. Should Arturo have accepted Helenet’s help earlier? Probably, but what’s done is done, and also she will never let him live it down if he admits that to her.




Arturo is also a huge fan of lycanthropy. At night he can run faster, hear better, smell all sorts of things that he couldn’t before. It’s a wonderfully novel cacophony of sensations.

(He does file away a mental note that, according to Helenet, most people don’t like when you comment that you can smell their hormonal changes or what they ate for lunch.)

Norweni and Fial's father was sick during the time Norweni was away from home so Dinn used to come help on the farm. :) And every time Norweni returned home she asked if he was a new farmhand and Fial had to resist the urge to slap her sister upside the head. :) :) Look, Fial, your sister might not remember your boyfriend's name but she does bring you home jewelry! Isn't that more important?
